These songs were written over the course of 5 years and remixed/mastered in the summer of 2020. This collection feels very personal to me, as during the remixing process I was awash with memories from the parts of my life when each tune was written. The emotional weight of that was amplified, I think, due to the circumstances of the outside world during the summer of 2020.

Unlike my last album (so many years ago) where I was crafting a particular sound with intention for an active listening audience, these tunes were by and large written for my own amusement or creative exercise. In fact, I've really been going back and forth on whether to release them at all and can't articulate why exactly I've chose to do so. Probably just because I really like these songs and would like you all to hear them. I like the ratio here of organic to electronic, and the variety of non-genre-conforming as well as some that fit nicely into chillout categories.
