I had this melody dancing around my mind for a while, some years actually, conjuring images of a peaceful fantasy world. I love when a melody has been with me for some time before I commit it to recording because it makes the production process almost effortless. I like to imagine my inner child laying in the grass at the edge of the pond on a warm summer day in Maine, drawing pictures in the water with my finger.
